Human Detection 

This is one of the most important and widespread features in EZVIZ cameras. The camera relies on a built-in algorithm that analyzes the shape of the moving body in front of it to determine whether it is a human or not. If it is, an instant alert is sent to the user via the app. The great thing about this feature is that it often does not require an additional subscription in most models, which distinguishes EZVIZ from some competitors who lock this feature behind paid plans. 

Distinguishing Between Humans and Pets 

In some newer models, such as the C6 series, the algorithm has evolved to differentiate between humans and pets. This is a highly practical feature for homeowners with cats or dogs, as it significantly reduces unnecessary alerts caused by pets moving inside the house. 

Auto-Tracking

Smart Color Night Vision 

Some EZVIZ camera models combine artificial intelligence with smart lighting. When the camera detects a human in the dark, it automatically activates additional spotlighting to switch the image from black-and-white to clear, colorful night vision—rather than keeping the lights on all the time, which consumes more power. 

Additional Smart Features in Some Models 

• Hand-Waving Alert: Some indoor cameras can detect hand-waving motion in front of them and trigger a call or alert. This is very useful as a communication method with children or elderly people at home. 

• Active Deterrence: When a suspicious person is detected, some cameras emit a siren sound or flash strong lighting to scare and deter the intruder.

• How important is night image quality? If night monitoring is a priority, look for models with smart color night vision. 

• Do you prefer local or cloud storage? Some users prefer a local SD card to avoid monthly subscriptions, while others prefer cloud storage for its added security.
