DrayTek Vigor 2136 is an advanced 2.5G VPN router designed to meet the needs of modern networks in smart homes and small office (SOHO) environments. It features a main 2.5GbE WAN port and a switchable 2.5GbE LAN/WAN port, in addition to three Gigabit LAN ports, allowing full utilization of ultra-high internet speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps.
The router delivers NAT performance of up to 2.3 Gbps while maintaining support for bandwidth control policies and application prioritization.
One of its key security features is Port Knocking technology, which hides sensitive ports and prevents unauthorized access. It also supports EasyVPN, enabling fast and simple VPN setup without complex configuration. The router supports 16 VPN tunnels including IPsec, WireGuard, and OpenVPN, with IPsec throughput reaching up to 390 Mbps.
It also includes an IAM (Identity and Access Management) system, making it ready for Zero Trust environments, along with URL Reputation and IP Reputation services to protect the network from malicious content and threats.
